Yesterday Brandon came home from work and told me that he had news. The regional manager was at his office and passed off the last thing he had to do for his training. They gave him the title of Operations Supervisor of his current office, but in doing so, he can now transfer to Portland as the assistant manager without having to finish any more school. I still think he will have to finish the last couple classes he has before he can become the Facility Manager there, but he can do that while he's the Assistant Manager. So, Brandon thinks that we might be moving to Portland in January--SCARY!!! Why do we always move when our babies are about 2 months old? I've lived in Utah for just a little over 10 years, so this will definitely be an adventure. If you know of anyone that needs to rent a place in January, let me know!

What's Goin' On....
Well, I've been a slacker at blogging again, so here's a little of what we've been doing, from the first leaves of Fall, to the first snow:On the first day of Fall, Samantha and Amy gathered all the leaves they could find (which wasn't very much) and put them in a pile to jump in. I'm sure their little buns must have hurt!
When the leaves starting changing colors, we took the girls up the canyon for a photo shoot. Do anyone else's kids cooperate when you want them to? I think I took like 70 pictures and only got a few of them both looking at the camera and smiling at the same time.
We finally got Amy a mattress last weekend for her big girl bed. We just have bunk beds that come apart, so we took off the top bunk and put Amy on it. This is the very first thing I have done to get ready for the new baby.....and I have been DREADING this day for a long time. Amy is much more spirited than Samantha, so I was so nervous that she wouldn't stay in bed. The first night, we got them in their PJs and Brandon read them books and then tucked them in. It was quiet for a while and then came the little feet. They both got out of bed twice that night, but it's been a week now and we haven't had any problems since then. I am in shock! I never thought it would be this easy. The first day, it was around noon and Samantha asked me if it was going to be dark soon and I said, "No, why?" And she said that she wanted it to be nighttime so that Amy could sleep with her again. They have been having so much fun sharing a room and I am so grateful! Now I just have to find Amy some bedding. Suggestions anyone? That very night that we put Amy in her big girl bed, it snowed! I know I shouldn't be too surprised because of where we live, but come on! What happened to fall??? The girls were excited and they wanted to play in it right away.
Can you see the excitement?
Here's Brandon making a snowman for the girls--what a great daddy!
Samantha tried to hug the snowman and it crumbled--oops! So Brandon made another one.
The whole purpose of snowman making though, is to demolish it.....
The next day, the girls wanted to play in what was left of Mr. Snowman. Amy was hilarious--she got a handful of snow and then threw it right at Samantha, thus starting a minature snowball fight and lots of running and screaming. So that's a little of what's been going on at our house. I went to the Doctor today and am measuring at 33 weeks and I turn 33 weeks on Monday, so everything is normal. I should find out at my next visit when I get to schedule my c-section and bring another little princess into our family. We will keep you posted on Portland, but for now we are just waiting to see what happens. Thankfully, I don't think anything will happen before January, which I am SO grateful for!

Good News......Bad News

The good news is.....after being alone with the girls all week, Brandon came home Friday night! His company flew him to Portland and he made it sound like to me that they just needed some help out there. Well, on the way home from the airport, Brandon told me that the manager there asked him if he wanted to take over. WHAT???? Brandon of course said yes, because we would love to live in Vancouver, but then came more news. He still hasn't finished his degree and has only a couple classes left. The area manager wants to give him the job, but he's worried that his boss above him wouldn't be happy about not following the rules. I asked Brandon if this were to happen, would it be soon and he thought it would be. Okay, now I'm stressing out because who wants to pack up a house and move being 8 months pregnant? Not me! And we'd have to find renters for our house and finally finish remodeling the guest bathroom and not even be able to use the jetted tub--uugh! Brandon doesn't think anything will come of it, but he also made it seem like it wasn't a big deal to have his company fly him out to Portland in the first place. So I'm torn and I don't know what to think. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Anybody know anything about Portland?
