Hallie turns 1!

Hallie's birthday is actually on December 1st, but since it is so close to Thanksgiving, and we had family in town, we decided to throw her a little party while everyone was here. This year went by amazingly fast and I can't believe I don't have a real baby anymore.Here's her first present--she didn't have a clue what was going on.

She did, however, get mad at her sisters for trying to take away her new toys!
Here is a beautiful quilt made from Grandma Price that matches the skirts all of the girls have. Yes, we all know I have a major thing for pink and brown. Thanks mom!

On her actual birthday, I let her have french fries for dinner. What a great mom, huh?
Then she got a birthday brownie w/ ice cream. She tried to shove it all in....
.....but her hand got really cold, so she opted for the fork instead.
One happy 1 year old!

The BIG 3-0

I turned 30 on Friday the 13th, which I originally thought was a bad omen, but Brandon made sure that I had an absolute fabulous birthday. He wanted me to celebrate all week long, so the first day he had 30 roses delivered to the house.On Wednesday, he had 30 balloons sent.
Then, on my actual birthday, he took us for an hour long couples' massage, followed by lunch at Cafe Rio, and then a movie. After that, he was acting a little funny and was trying to think of things for us to do so that we wouldn't have to go home. And this was all because he and Kimm had planned a surprise party. Here are the girls practicing hiding in under the table before I got there.
My wonderful husband had Kimm blow up this hideous picture of me from Halloween and plastered it all over my house.

Brandon gave me a present that we have been wanting since we got married, and I just saw it hanging up--it is the Greg Olson picture of Oh Jerusalem.

Blowing out the candles. Thank goodness there was just a 3 and a 0 because I almost didn't even blow those out!
And here is my favorite present that I got myself. I saw these in Tai Pan and immediately thought of my three girls.
Thank you all for making my scary birthday into a birthday that I will never forget!

A little slow, but Happy Halloween!

For Halloween this year, we had soup in cute little pumpkin bread bowls for dinner. At least it was something healthy before all the sugar!
Samantha wanted to be Tinkerbell and Amy wanted to be a kitty...which were costumes I already had, so that made me very happy!
And Hallie got to be a pumpkin that has been passed down from her 2 sisters.

The family. These weren't the original costumes for Brandon and I. Some of you may have been fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to witness them on facebook! Scrubs were way more comfy and easy to walk around in. And you can't see it, but I put a nametag on Brandon's scrubs that said McSteamy.

Hallie found a sucker and was in HEAVEN. She knew we were holding out on her!
Samantha's friend, Adam, happened to be dressed up as Peter Pan, so they were perfect together!After trick-or-treating, we hung out at Kevin & Amanda's for a little bit to get warm and check out the loot. Then it was home for hot chocolate and doughnuts.

Angela was so nice to take our family pictures in the canyon, and on the way home I mentioned that I hadn't ever had Hallie's picture taken, so we did a mini photo shoot. I love them all! Thanks Ang!
