Erin and I got a chance to go visit Blake & Shawna in Washington for 6 days with just our babies. It was a much needed mom's get-away and it was absolutely FABULOUS!! Shawna had something for us to do everyday. We even had dutch oven dinners two days in a row and the bread was to die for. I think Erin and Ipretty much ate most of it. Hey, we're on vacation, right?
Hallie is just hanging out in the backyard. She loved the trampoline.
We went up to Sumner and visited Grandma Afton, Mel, Carol Marie, Randy & Tasha.
Hallie had a little impromtu photo shoot in Great Grandma's backyard.
Later that day we went to Carol & Willy's and went 4-wheeling. Shawna sure showed us up. I totally rolled the 4-wheeler, but don't worry Mom, I'm okay!

Then we went to Seaside for 3 days. We were walking along and saw people paddle boating and thought it looked like fun, so we gave it a try. It was so fun! And we got a little workout too.
And of course, we hit the beach. I could spend every day for the rest of my life and the beach and be completely happy.

This is the biggest candied apple EVER--the Avalanche. So much sugar and just a tiny bit of apple. It took us a long time to eat it because it was so rich.
