I am so grateful for the Gospel. I just found out that my grandpa died a few hours ago. He has been on hospice for about a year and has been battling cancer and has had heart problems for some time. He lived longer than his doctors ever thought possible. My grandpa never went to church and never let my grandma go through the temple. With his passing, although it has me somewhat saddened, I am excited for the temple work to be done for my grandparents. Families truly are forever and I don't know how anyone handles death that doesn't believe this to be true. I know that I will see my grandpa again. I am so grateful that I will be able to spend eternity with Brandon and my beautiful children. I think times like these strengthen my testimony to remember where we came from and where we are going. Along with this death, a new life is also coming. One of my best friends, my sister-in-law, Erin, is going to have a baby in a week. She happens to live in Idaho, where my grandpa's funeral is going to be. So while I get to say good-bye to my grandpa, I also get to say hello to my new nephew. Love every minute you get to spend with your family. Sometimes it may be hard when your kids are screaming or tearing up the room you just spent hours cleaning. Life really is short and it will all be over too soon. Tell someone today how much you love them.

Bring on the Chubbs!
Tomorrow Hallie will be 6 weeks old. I can't seem to stop time from going so fast! Both Samantha and Amy doubled their birth weight by the time they were 2 months, and Hallie is trying to make her mark too! She's about 11 pounds right now and sweet as can be. I'm so lucky to get such great chubby babies! Look at this tummy.....Today was the first day we brought her to church, and we actually stayed the whole 3 hours. Hallie could have cared less though because she slept through the whole thing. But she wanted to show everyone her dress:
And Amy did too!A week ago, our friends Bill & Beka were in town from Sacramento and we had Jason & Dianne over and all played pinochle. It was really fun to hang out with everyone! And Samantha took this picture all by herself.....
And on a side note, I just started facebook this week and have kind of become addicted, but it is taking so much time! I'm just curious....for those of you that have both facebook and blogs, which do you like better?

Happy New Year!
You know you had a good New Year's Eve when you can't even make it all the way up the stairs to your bed!We just hung out at our house for New Year's and had our friends, Jason & Dianne over. Brandon has been obsessed with electronic Monopoly, so he made us play, even though I really didn't want to. But no worries, even though I haven't played it since I was a kid, I still managed to bankrupt everyone and win. Maybe he'll think twice before making me play a game that I will just beat him at! Then we watched Traitor and played Ticket to Ride (which I also won--I was really on a roll that night!) Our kids ran around the whole time and apparently they got exhausted because they NEVER stay up that late. Poor little Amy disappeared and I went to look for her and found her on the stairs. How cute is she??? Hope you all had a fabulous New Year's too!
